Well, this is not from Oulu and no, it's not another CDP theme day with confusing theme ;-). The reason why I posted this photo is because it was shown as a background image (with 34 other photos) in our flamenco show "Calles Nuevas" (new roads) this evening. All photos were taken in Granada, Spain last autumn. If you are in Oulu tomorrow, it's possible to see the rest of the photos, and very nice flamenco too, at Nuku culture centre at 7 PM. Welcome!

Juu ei ole kuvattu Oulussa tätä, eikä ole edes CDP teemapäivä kummallisella aiheella ;-)Syy kuvan postaukseen on, että se oli tänään flamencoesityksemme "Calles Nuevas - Uusia teitä" taustakuvana (34 muu kuvan kanssa). Kaikki kuvat ovat viime syksyiseltä Granadan matkaltani. Jos olet Oulussa huomenna tostaina (10.5.) tervetuloa katsomaan loput kuvat ja vauhdikas flamencoesitys Nukulle klo 19.

Exactly a year ago there was already green leaves in black cherry (Prunus padus), but not in this year, there is not a hint of green in trees yet.

Päivälleen vuosi sitten tuomessa oli jo lehdet mutta tänä vuonna ei vielä viherrä yhtään ei.

I'm not sure what was happening but surely something vappu (the first of May) and students related.
If you go to celebrate remember put on lot of warm clothes, it is freezing out there and weather report promised that during night it's going to be below zero.

Ihan varmasti en tiedä mitä oli meneillään mutta taatusti jotain vappuun ja opiskelijoihin liittyvä.

Year ago spring was two weeks late. Shooting spot is not exactly the same but the place is.

Today we have had a most beautiful spring day. Sunny, warm (+ 10 C°) and calm. Backside of theatre house is popular place for spending time in sun.

Tänään on ollut aivan mahtava kevätpäivä. Aurinkoinen, lämmin ja tyyni). Teatterin takana on mukava viettää aikaa auringossa.

Today day and night are equal long, and dark time is finally behind in northern hemisphere. I celebrate the vernal equinox with this last photo of series of flamenco band Bajo Cero (below Zero) on ice. Yes it was a bit cold but lot of fun too.

Today it has been most beautiful day, just like spring. While I was standing at red lights I noticed this dramatic contrast with deep blue sky and yellow cathedral. From Wiki you find more information about it.

Light phenomenon - Valoilmiö

Photo is taken at last night from my balcony. I'm not sure but I think that this phenomenom occur when it's very cold and there is tiny ice chrystals in the air.

Long time no see - Pitkästä aikaa

Hello all you faithful visitors! Sorry this long silence but I've been busy again, and after sitting 10-12 hours here at computer, spending spare time with updating blog hasn't been so tempting. I have lot of new photos though and I'm going to fill all those empty days with them.

This is familiar view near by. Cold weather continues but days have been sunny.

Tervehdys kaikki uskolliset kävijät. Anteeksi pitkä hiljaisuus mutta on taas ollut kiireistä ja kun on istunut 10-12 tuntia ahertamassa tässä koneella ei vapaa-ajan viettäminen samassa paikassa blogia päivittäen ole ollut kovin houkuttelevaa. Uusia kuvia on kumminkin lakkarissa ja aion täyttää niillä väliin jääneet päivät.
Tämä tuttu maisema on tuosta läheltä. Pakkaskelit jatkuvat mutta päivät ovat olleet aurinkoisia.

Today was most coldest day of this winter here in Oulu, at least so far. Temperature has been around - 30 Cº. And no dear friends, I didn't went out to photo shoot, I stayed inside and concentrated being busy. This photo is taken much warmer day, it was only - 22 Cº.

Tänään oli talven kylmin päivä Oulussa, ainakin tähän mennessä. Pakkasta on ollut koko päivän 30 tietämissä. Juu ei ystävät kalliit, en lähtenyt kuvaamaan vaan pysyttelin sisällä ja kestyin olemaan kiireinen. Tämä on kuvattu paljon lämpimämpänä päivänä pakkasta taisi olla vain 22 Cº.
