Christmas lights - Jouluvalot

A controversial Christmas lights of Rotuaari. For some people Rotuaari's Christmas decoration is way too modest, dim, ugly, even shameful, whereas others think these stars are moody and beautiful (based on letters to the editor column in our newspaper Kaleva). In my humble opinion the stars are okay but streetlights beneath them are the problem.

Kiistanalaiset Rotuaarin jouluvalot. Joidenkin mielestä Rotuaarin joulukoristelu on aivan liian vaatimatonta, himmeää, rumaa jopa häpeällistä, kun taas toiset tykkäävät että tähdet ovat oikein tunnelmalliset ja kauniit(perustuu Kalevan yleisönosasto kirjoituksiin). Minun vaatimaton mielipiteeni on, että tähdet ovat ihan hyvät, mutta katuvalot niiden alapuolella ovat se varsinainen ongelma.

Today's head title supposed to be "Under the chrystal lamps" but as you can see there is no such thing in this picture *deep sigh* and the reason is bad battery in my handback camera.
This photo is from last saturday and it's taken with lovely fisheye lens Peleng.

Tämän päivän otsikon piti olla "Kristallilamppujen alla" mutta niinkuin näkyy ei kuvassa ole mitään sen tapaistakaan *syvä huokaus* ja syy on huono akku käsilaukkukamerassa.

I have got a new lens as you can see. Today I didn't have too much time to try it but I think we are going to have a lot of fun with it.

Demonstration

Today I happened to be at pedestrian street when there was a little demonstration behalf of legalizing home growth marijuana. First banderol with hearts asks: "a bit more gently, please". Second: "Let the flowers bloom" and the green one says "No for criminality, lets grow at home"

Baloons

Today at downtown was family event called Kevätväkkärä difficult to translate but spring-whirligig could be near. I counted at least 5 baloon-sellers only at pedestrian street.
