Evening at theatre - Ilta teatterissa

Oulu city theatre: Lights of the lobby. Big Stage, the audience is coming to see Ken Ludwig's play Shakespeare at Hollywood.
Theatre building is designed by architects Marjatta and Martti Jaatinen at 1972.

Oulun kaupunginteatteri: Lämpiön valaisimet. Suuri näyttämö, yleisö saapuu katsomaan Ken Ludwigin näytelmää Shakespeare Hollywoodissa. Teatterirakennuksen ovat suunnitelleet arkkitehdit Marjatta and Martti Jaatinen 1972.

Yellow days - Keltaiset päivät

Department store Stockmann arrange twice a year so called crazy days. It's kind of shopping fiesta lasting from Wednesday to Saturday. (well, I bought only a new espresso maker, some wine glasses, candles and lot of food ;-)

Stockmann järjestää kahdesti vuodessa niinkutsutut hullut päivät, shoppailun juhlaa keskiviikosta lauantaihin. (no minä ostin vain uuden espressopannun, viinilaseja, kynttilöitä ja paljon ruokaa ;-)

Orthodox church

Today I visited at Oulu's Orthodox church. Most observant of you may be able to find that there is a wedding about to begin.

Market hall

In honour of 105 years old Oulu market hall this interior photo. Actually the market hall building was ready a week earlier, 1st fo May, but the business started on 8th of May. At first marketeers didn’t want to go inside from the market place open sky, so armed imperial soldiers compelled them to do so by order.

Market hall is drawn by architects Karl Lindahl and Walter Thome. Its costs was in those days 13 200 mk (79 200 €). Oulu market hall is the fifth biggest in Finland.

Cafe interior

Today it has been a gray day and besides it started to rain wet snow at afternoon - still raining - so I had no inspiration at all to go out with my camera. But I had to go to my flamenco lesson to the Youth and Culture Centre. This photo I shoot from third floor balcony down to the cafe area.
