Light phenomenon - Valoilmiö

Photo is taken at last night from my balcony. I'm not sure but I think that this phenomenom occur when it's very cold and there is tiny ice chrystals in the air.

Kuvattu eilen illalla parvekkeelta käsin. En ole aivan varma mutta luulisin että ilmiö syntyy kovalla pakkasella kun ilmassa on jääkiteitä.

Northern lights - Revontulet

At last night sky was clear with some northern lights after midnight. But there is so much artificial light at residential areas, that it makes hard to see or photo shoot stars or northern lights middle of them, should go somewhere in real darkness but it was too late and cold ;-).

Viimeyönä oli tähtikirkas taivas ja puolen yön jälkeen jonkin verran revontulia. Asutusalueilla vain on niin kirkkaat valot että tähtien ja revontulien näkyminen tai kuvaaminen on aika vaikeaa. Pitäisi lähteä jonnekkin missä on oikeasti pimeää, mutta oli liian myöhä ja kylmä.

Autumn is here - Syksy on tullut

and me too ;-) Buenas tardes todo! After photographing ten days in such a magnificent city as Granada is, it might be a bit hard to see something worth to shoot here in my humble hometown. I'll try anyway. Still being quite tired after the trip today's photo is only a snapshot. Twilight seems to come as early as 8:00 PM.

Yritän joka tapauksessa. Tämänpäiväinen on vain räpsy auton ikkunasta, matkaväsy kun meinaa vielä vaivata. Iltahämärä näkyy tulevan jo kahdeksan aikoihin.

Bonfire food - Nuotioruokaa

Last night my brother cooked teriyaki marinated pork with vegetables and fruits at his courtyard. Yum :-)

Eilen illalla veljeni kokkasi pihallaan teriyaki marinoitua possua vihannesten ja hedelmien kera. Nam :-)

My plan was to post a photo about joy of playground, but two little children* are sleeping (finally) in the room where those photos are, so here again this familiar view but the clouds are new anyway ;-)

I wanted to post this photo because in it is tree very important Finnish summer theme: light night, bonfire and totally calm lake. I took it at 1:37 AM.

Jälleen kuva Oulun kaupungin ulkopuolelta (mutta edelleen Oulun läänissä ;-)Halusin postata tämän kuvan koska siinä on kolme tärkeää suomalaista kesäteemaa: valoisa yö, nuotia ja peilityyni järvi. Kuva on otettu 1.37.

I shot this at 00.18 last night when we were out for taking some panoramic photos. I think it looks like somehow Finnish-Japanese view. I turned it to b/w because of using flash the colors were quite odd.

Shot while coming home from a party at 2.26 AM, from a bridge between Pikisaari (= pitch island) and Hietasaari (= sand island) toward Tuira district.
